Dr. Eskan is a Board-Certified Periodontist and Dental Implant Surgeon interested in advanced surgical periodontics and implant therapy techniques. Dr. Eskan completed his DDS with an honorary degree and was awarded the University of President Highest Achievement Award

Following graduation, he was admitted to the University of Louisville where he completed his specialist training in Periodontics and Dental Implantology and also received his Ph.D. in Microbiology and Immunology. Dr Eskan earned his double degree, residency and PhD, in 3 years. Dr. Eskan was one of the recipients of the Tarrson Regeneration Scholarship by the American Academy of Periodontology. Dr. Eskan also won the Prestigious Billy M. Pennel Research Competition for his clinical research in bone regeneration. He has been practicing over 10 years as a periodontist and implant surgeon.

Dr. Eskan currently serves as a faculty member at NSU College of Dental Medicine and the University at Buffalo School of Dentistry in the Department of Periodontics. He has published a large amount study in journals with high impact factors. Dr. Eskan’s Ph.D. thesis was selected as a featured article and became cover of the Nature Immunology in May 2012. He was very first dentist who published in the Nature Immunology and became its cover. His recent study was featured all around the world on numerous web pages including Futurity, University of Buffalo, Medical News Today, Dental Tribune, The Daily Science, Med India and Medical Daily, etc. His recent clinical research hit a score of more than 321 on social media and was also on the news (CNBC, 2WZGR). His publications have been featured more than 2600 times by other researchers so far.  Dr. Eskan has given a great number of lectures internationally. He led ProArch (also called All-on-4), Guidor Membrane applications in bone regeneration, and Osseodensification.
